I am an economist working on issues related to Macroeconomics, Labour, Globalizaiton and Development. I have published one book and research papers in prestigious journals like Economic and Political Weekly and Indian Journal of Labour Economics. Currently I teach at St. Xavier's University Kolkata. Before joining the university I worked for 11 years at the Institute of Development Studies Kolkata, where I undertook a number of research projects and guided MPhil and PhD students.
